Do HP 219A and HP 219X fit the same printers?

Yes. HP lists both capacities for the same printers, and you can mix A and X colour by colour. The choice depends on the current price, the stated yield and how much you print.

How many pages does an HP 219 cartridge print?

HP states approximately 1,300 pages for W2190A and 3,200 for W2190X. Cyan, yellow and magenta are approximately 1,200 pages each for 219A and 2,500 for 219X. HP states these yields under ISO/IEC 19798 with continuous printing; actual yield varies with what you print.

Does compatible HP 219 toner work?

It depends on the specific product, its chip and your printer's firmware. HP uses dynamic security, so compatible cartridges are neither guaranteed to work nor automatically blocked. Choose an exact OEM match from a seller with clear returns or warranty terms.

How is cost per page calculated?

We divide the checked price including VAT by the page yield stated for that exact cartridge. Unknown delivery is not counted as free, and a compatible cartridge's cost is never calculated with HP's yield.

Are the prices including VAT?

Yes. The main price is the consumer price including VAT as shown by the retailer. Where a retailer also shows an ex-VAT price, we never compare it with another retailer's inc-VAT price.
